A story of passion
Its founder, Etienne Amsler, a child from Bienne, is not from the watchmaking world but has been passionate about watches since his childhood. Also passionate about horse riding, the name Equus came naturally to him. Over the years and research, connections and meetings with numerous professionals in the watchmaking industry, the Equus brand was born.

Interchangeability as DNA
Imagined in 2017 and officially patented in 2023, Equus was born from a desire to quickly and easily match your watch to your look. Through a unique and innovative interchangeability system requiring no specific tools, your timepiece adapts quickly and effortlessly to your current taste. Changing the strap or dial now becomes a daily fashion gesture.

Each model, special and exclusive, is offered in limited edition.
For this first creation, only 222 examples were put on the market. This number refers not only to the mirror hours (11:11), an integral part of the reflections during the creation of the brand, but also to the 6 years of entrepreneurship necessary to bring this lifelong project to fruition.
Each year, a new limited edition creation will be released with, for each of them, a specific number linked to the history and evolution of the brand. Interchangeability will obviously remain the DNA of Equus.
